The IFF Central Board held its third meeting of the year in Tampere, Finland during the Women´s World Floorball Championships 2015.
New IFF Member
The IFF now consists of 59 Member Associations when the Cote d´Ivoire Floorball Federation was approved by the Central Board as a new IFF member. Mr. Manland Koutoua Didier Aime is the President of the Federation.

The CB also decided to replace the IFF member association in Pakistan with the Pakistan Floorball Federation, led by Sheikh Muhammad Junaid.
New IFF Event Organisers
The IFF Central Board appointed the organisers for the Women´s World Floorball Championships 2019 and the Men´s World Floorball Championships 2020.
Switzerland was appointed organiser of the Women´s WFC 2019 and
Finland was appointed organiser of the Men´s WFC 2020
IFF Athletes´ Commission
A total of eight candidates were nominated for the Athletes´ Commission and the election took place during the first days of the Women´s WFC. The following females were elected to the IFF Athletes´ Commission:

The IFF CB changed the election system of the Athletes´ commission, so that the members shall be elected for a four year period starting from 2017, so that the male representatives are elected by their pairs during the Men’s WFC and the female representatives are elected during the WFC qualifications in February 2017.

WUFC 2016
FISU has set the dates for the 7th World University Floorball Championships 2016, which will be played in Porto, Portugal. The WUFC dates 2016 are July 19th – 24th. More information on: wucfloorball2016.com
Champions Cup 2016
The 6th IFF Floorball Champions Cup in Borås, Sweden, September 30th-October 2nd 2016. Greåker Men(NOR) and Nauka Women (RUS) won the EuroFloorball Cup 2015 and are qualified to the Champions Cup 2016.

Men’s World Floorball Championships 2016
The 11th Men’s WFC is played in Riga, Latvia, December 3rd-11th 2016.
Men’s World Floorball Championships 2016 Qualifications
The schedules for the Men´s WFC Qualifications 2016 have been decided. There will be a total of 6 groups - four in Europe and one each in Asia-Oceania and the Americas.
Qualification to the WFC 2016 final round:
Direct (1): Latvia (organiser)
Europe (10): Top 2 per qualification plus 2 best 3rd placed teams
AOFC (3): Top 3
Americas (2): Top 2

Wroclaw World Games 2017
Floorball will be on the programme of the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw. The World Games will be held 20th – 30th July and floorball has been assigned four competition days for the six teams participating.
The Polish Open in September 2016 will act as the test event for the 2017 World Games tournament.
The qualification system for the World Games 2017 in Wroclaw has been approved by the IWGA. The top three teams from the Men’s WFC 2016 together with the best ranked neighbouring team to Poland (Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine), the best ranked non-European team (must be ranked ate least 12th in the WFC) and Poland are participating in the tournament.
