WFC2015 is an EcoCompass Candidate Event!
Environment matters
Our tournament, 10th IFF Women´s World Floorball Championships 2015, is among the first sporting tournaments in Finland that are aiming for the EcoCompass Certificate.
This means that we take the environmental factors into consideration in all the areas. Transportation, accommodation, food, fan products, venues, office practices - all these have been deliberated thinking about the environment. Our aim is to decrease the environmental stress caused by the tournament.
Our aim is to create ways that endure time. Future tournaments and events can built on our experiences with environmental matters.
EcoCompass is not merely good intentions. Our success will be evaluated by an independent evaluator before, during and after the tournament.
