Spanish Floorball Association cooperation with Portugal – 18.12.2013

The Spanish Floorball Association has as a part of the "Each One - Teach One" project started development cooperation with Portugal.

 - There has previously been two cities in Portugal where there has been floorball activities, the Lisbon and Porto areas, but now we are starting to work in Madeira, where we have found a very good cooperation with the sport authorities, Carlos Lopez, the AEUF Secretary General and IFF CB member informs.

Mrs Graca Nunes, the President of a sport club in Madeira, has been involved in sports for over 20 years and she has now started to lead the floorball program. She immediately implemented floorball in her own club in close collaboration with the Spanish Floorball Association and is very eager to create a strong Portuguese floorball community. At the moment they are working with two floorball schools and a U18/senior team coming from roller hockey.

- The Spanish Floorball Association is also working for the Madeira project and are educating the local floorball enthusiasts. There are also plans to organise a mutual event with Spanish and Portuguese floorball kids playing  together, Carlos Lopez, concludes.
