Floorball L´Aquila Italian Women´s Champions 2013 – 17.05.2013
In the first match the reigning champions, Floorball L´Aquila, dominated against Viking Roma. After a very strong start the final score was 9-3. In the next match Molotov Serenissima manages to put pressure on the L’Aquila team, partly thanks to an excellent Alberto Franca in the goal. They had a 4-1 lead until 12 minutes before the end of the match. But witin three astonishing minutes the reigning champions scored four goals, thereby taking the lead. Molotov Serenissima scored the equalizer, but with 5 minutes left, the decisive goal for Floorball L´Aquila was scored by Angelica Berti De Marinis, assisted by Elisa Fischione. During the last minutes the L’Aquila team defended the goal, confirming to become Italian champions. The last match Molotov Serenissima between Viking Roma is only decided the second place. The match was won 10-6 by Molotov Serenissima. The prices were awarded by Giorgio Rambaldi, Member of the Central Board of the Italian Floorball Association. Source & more information: www.fiuf.it |

The final phase of the female championship was played on 4-5 May in Fiesso d´Artico (VE), involving three teams.
