The Indian Floorball Federation has achieved an important milestone when floorball was included as one of the sports in the 59th National School Games.

This happened in 59th National School Games which were held at Rajnandgaon Chhattisgarh, India, January 11th - 13th 2014, Both Under 19 boys and under 19 girls categories were included. 

National School Games was organised By School Games Federation of India (SGFI) under Ministry of Sports in India, with the help of Department of Education and Sports Chhattisgarh Government. The mentor behind this success was Dr. Prabhat Kumar (IAS) President - Indian Floorball Federation (InFF).

More than 250 players and 14 teams from different Indian states participated in this tournament. Mr Madhusudan Yadav, Member of Parliament, was the Guest of honour in the opening Ceremony. Mr. S. R. Karsh, Assistance Director of Sports in Chhattisgarh Government and Vice President of School Games Federation of India, was in charge of this tournament.

- It was a very exciting tournament in all aspect. We saw many thrilling moments and brilliant performances.  A total of 30 matches were played in this tournament, which will for sure always remain in our memories, Dr. Pradeep Singh, InFF Secretary General said.

Top 3 placed teams:

This tournament witnessed great performances by star players like Nikhilesh Pandayan, Wassiullah Khan from Chhattisgarh, Harshit Bajaj and Srichand from Delhi. In the girls category the best performances were seen by Manisha, Nancey and Manju Yadav from Delhi and Latika Yadav from Chhatishgarh.

Mr. Naresh Dakhliya, the mayor if Rajnandgaon Chhattisgarh, attended the closing ceremony and handed over the trophies and medals. Mr. Prabhjot Singh Gill International referee accredited this tournament by being Chief Referee for this tournament.
