UHC Sparkasse won both Cup titles in Germany – 03.03.2014Both the Men´s Cup and Women´s final4 Cup title was won by UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels this year. The women´s team beat MFBC Grimma with 6-5 during overtime. It was an exciting match with up and downs, MFBC Grimma having a 4-1 lead for after 40 minutes. The youngest player of Weißenfels, Luise Andrä, shot the golden goal after 63 minutes. The men´s final was played in front of nearly 600 spectators. UHC Weißenfels, the current leader of 1. Bundesliga, played a super match, dominating against Red Devils Wernigerode (second place 1. Bundesliga and Cup holder 2013). After 60 minutes the score was 9-4 for Weißenfels. The final4 took place in Wyk of Föhr, a nice island in north. It was a special event with great success.
