The Women’s WFC 2017 was organised in Bratislava, Slovakia 1st – 9th of December and the event raised interest especially among tv.

In total 39 matches out of the 48 were broadcasted. According to the current information, matches were broadcasted live in one form or another in 12 different countries. These countries were Slovakia, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Singapore, USA, Latvia, Germany, China and Poland. The WFC also made the news in Thailand, Russia and Estonia.
The final had 902 000 viewers and the bronze match 190 000 viewers. According to the current statistics the live matches were seen by 4,84 million viewers.
