The Swiss national team player Corin Ruttimann was Switzerland’s hero in the Bronze match against Czech Republic as she scored three goals including a penalty shot goal with ten minutes left of the match. Switzerland won the match 3-2.
All in all Ruttimann has now scored 40 goals in Women’s WFCs which is a new record! The previous record was scored by Danish national team player Cecilia Di Nardo earlier in the tournament.
