The second semifinal match was between Sweden and Czech Republic.
Swedish machine started to work from the first seconds. This team scored a controversial goal in the 2nd minute. Emelie Wibron was pushing the ball behind the goalie and according to the referee, it was the goal, the ball crossed the goal-line. Stephanie Boberg added the second one in the 13th minute. One minute later, Swedish players showed a brilliant combination in front of the Czech goalie and Sofia Joelsson rebounded the shot. She added her second in the last minute of the first period and Sweden won this part 4:0.
Sweden dominated and confirmed the role of favourite. Czech players had several good opportunities but no clear chances. They needed more accurate shots. But Sweden scored another two goals. Firstly, Alice Granstedt made it to 5:0. Secondly, Stephanie Boberg added another one to 6:0. Czech Republic got only few break aways because Swedish dominance was massive and Sweden controlled the game.
Sweden spent a lot of time on the Czech half but their opponent didn´t want to concede another goals. The winner was clear but Czech Republic scored the first goal in the 54th minute. Martina Repkova was a successful goal-scorer. Cornelia Fjellstedt completed the number of scored goals for Sweden in the 58th minute. Sweden won over Czech Republic 7:1.
