The last game for Thailand and Japan in group D.
The first period began with a goal for Thailand. Tikhamporn Sakunpithak was a successful goal-scorer in the 3rd minute. It was a very attractive match between Asian teams that displayed a lot of energy, beautiful combinations and accurate shots. Rei Goto, centre of Japan, added their first goal in the 11th minute. Both countries tried to score but defensive play was at a high-level.
Both teams started with full enthusiasm into the second period. This part of the match was really dramatic and the duel was interesting for audience because of quick play full of energy. There were several occasions to score but teams weren´t successful until the 34th minute. Yui Goto scored the second goal and Japan led 2-1 before the last period.
Japan and Thailand had good opportunities and they got some break aways but goalies on the each side saved a lot of chances. These teams continued in an entertaining floorball style. The next goal for Japan was scored by Yui Takahashi in the 57th minute. But Thailand responded in the 58th minute. Japanese players confirmed their lead in the last minute thanks to goal to an empy net. All in all, Japan won over Thailand 5-2.
