The first game in a group B. Sweden dominated and won over Germany with a high-goal advantage.
Sweden began very impressive. In the 1st minute, Anna Wijk scored the first goal of this match. She concentrated in front of a goalie and utilized the chance to be the first goal-scorer of Sweden in Bratislava. In the 5th minute, there was another goal. German players scored own goal. Sweden led 2:0. Three minutes later, Alice Granstedt was successful and in the 9th minute, Sofia Joelsson scored the fourth goal. Sweden enjoyed this game and added two goals. It was Frida Norstrom in the 13th minute and Sofia Joelsson in 14th minute. Perfect combination, breathtaking passes and accurate shots. These aspects presented the game of Sweden. The next two goals scored Malin Andreason and Moa Tschop. Sweden won the first period 8:0.
Sweden started the second part of the game by the goal. The successful goal-scorer was Sofia Joelsson. Germany didn´t want to get Sweden easy points and they scored the first goal thanks to Randi Kleerbaum. But Isabell Krantz showed one-timer shot and it resulted into the tenth goal for Sweden. Moa Tschop added another goal and Sweden led 11:1. Alena Holst finished the individual action by the goal to 2:11. A respond from the Swedish side was clear – another goal. Johanna Hultgren scored the second German goal. Several seconds later, the next impressive finish by Swedish players. Stephanie Boberg was the goal-scorer and after her goal, there was another. Malin Andreason scored in the 36th minute.
Third period was held by the Swedish goal. Ellen Rasmussen scored the fifteenth goal of the game. Sweden orchestrated another goal in the 47th minute, Cornelia Fjellstedt was a goal-scorer. Swedish players were unstoppable, they added seven goals and won over Germany 23:2.
