The IFF Referee Committee has nominated six referee pairs from five different countries to the upcoming Women´s WFC 2017, which will be played in Bratislava in Slovakia.
The head of the referees in the tournament is Mr. Lubos Maly from Czech Republic and he has an observer team of three observers. Mr. Jonas Ahlehjelm from Sweden, Mr. Aleksander Bienkowski from Poland and Mr. Ronny Brännbacka from Finland.
The nominated referees are:
Tomas Kostinek/Matrin Reichelt CZE
Tomas Kostinek is 28 years old technical sales engineer and lives in Prague. He´s been a referee for eight years and on the international level since 2015. This is his first WFC. When not refereeing he likes to play badminton and to travel.
Martin Reichelt lives also in Prague and is 31 years. He has been a referee since 2003 and has been on international level before with another pair. He has been in the WU19 WFC in 2012. He likes cycling, golfing and good food.
Tom Kirjonen/Jyrki Sirkka FIN
Tom Kirjonen, 47 years old salesman. He works with the good old fashion hardware. According to himself he´s way too busy to have other hobbies especially when being a father of three.
Jyrki Sirkka lives in Espoo in Finland and he is married and has two kids. He´s 48 years old. He works as a product developer and while not refereeing or working he likes to fish and cook. They were in WFC 2013 Final Round in Czech Republic with his pair and refereed a semi-final game.
Juhani Kirves/Henrik Snellman FIN
Juhani Kirves is 35 years old language teacher from Iisalmi in Finland. He has 17 years experience as a referee and he likes music and especially likes to play his guitar.
Henrik Snellman lives in Kuopio and he´s 43 years old. He has his own restaurant in Kuopio. According to him he doesn´t have that much time outside of his work and Floorball, but is generally interestd in sports.
Binbin Lin/Carmen Teo SGP
Binbin Lin, is 33 years of age and works as a teacher. She also has a player background as Floorball goalkeeper in the elite league in Singapore and used to be the goalkeeper of the Singaporean national team.
Carmen Teo, works in managing National Sports Associations and is 37 years old. She has been a referee ever since 2003 and this is the first WFC for her and her pair. She enjoys playing badminton with her friends when she happens to have spare time outside Floorball.
Thomas Lehmann/Andreas Manser SUI
Thomas Lehmann is 37 years and has been a referee since 2000. He loves the mountains and spends his free time by hiking and skiing. This is the first WFC for him and his pair.
Andreas Manser is a supervisor of the ground traffic in the Zurich airport and is a father of two boys. He also enjoys the nature as his pair.
Jörgen Andersson/Daniel Dufvenberg SWE
Jörgen Andersson is 41 years old and works as reclaims responsible in ICA Sweden. He´s married and has two daughters. He´s been a referee for 17 years and he´s also coaching his daughter´s Floorball team as a hobby.
Daniel Dufvenberg, 43 years old carpenter and lives in Borlänge. He´s married and a father of three. Outside of Floorball he enjoys to go to the gym and all other kind of sports are also close to his heart, especially with his kids.
