Anna Wijk – forward, Sweden
The captain of Sweden was a part of the successful team in the World Championships in Tampere 2015. She was named as the most valuable player of the tournament. Anna Wijk was also among the best players in the all star team after the WC in 2015. During a qualification to the WC 2017, she was the third best player in statistics of scoring leaders with 19 points in 4 matches (4+15).
Sofia Joelsson – forward, Sweden
A debutant in the World Championships in Bratislava. Joelsson collected 17 points (14+3) during the qualification matches. She was the fourth in productivity. Swedish forward is a real goalscorer who works hard all over the field.
Veera Kauppi, forward, Finland
She is a 20-year-old floorball player. For her, it´s the second appearance to amaze spectators during the World Championships. She is a very skillful and intelligent player on the field. Kauppi has incredible dribbling and accurate shot.
Ella Alanko – forward, Finland
The best scoring leader
in the qualification phase. She scored 13 goals in 4 matches. Alanko collected
21 points. She is a motor of the Finnish game. This player uses quick legs
in battles and it´s an opportunity to challenge any player.
Corin Rüttimann – forward, Switzerland
She was elected to the WC 2015 All Star team. Swiss floorball player finished the second in the table of scoring leaders with 15 points (9+6) after the qualification to the WC 2017. Currently one of the world´s strongest player in women floorball, because she is very skilled and agile.
Flurina Marti – forward, Switzerland
The best player in a productivity
during the qualification. She dominated with 17 points (8+9). Marti has amazing
technical skills and she is an absolute team player. Very important part of
Switzerland.
Eliška Krupnová – forward, Czech Republic
She is one of the main pillar of Czech national team. Krupnová was the most valuable player of Czech Republic in the qualification with 12 points (9+3). Czech forward should be a leader of the own team.
Denisa Ratajová – forward, Czech Republic
She should be one of the most potent player with good work in defense. Her talent shaped in Finnish league. During the qualification, she collected 11 points thanks to 4 goals and 7 assists.
Lucia Košturiaková – forward, Slovakia
The captain of Slovakia. One of the most important player and also most experienced floorball player in the team. The home World Championships is her fourth international appearance at high level in a row.
