The 11th Women´s World Floorball Championships (WFC) Final Round is played in Bratislava, Slovakia on December 1st - 9th, 2017.
A total of 30 teams played in the WFC Qualifications to decide the 16 teams to qualify to the Event. Slovakia, as the organiser, is automatically qualified. The WFC is played with 16 teams: FIN, CZE, LAT, NOR, SWE, SUI, GER, POL, SVK, AUS, SGP, EST, DEN, JPN, USA, THA.
Thailand will play in the World Floorball Championships Final Round for the first time.
The two best teams of group A and B go directly to the quarter-final. Teams placed 3rd and 4th in group A and B and the teams placed 1st and 2nd in group C and D make it to the first playoff round (played before the quarter-finals).

All four Women´s World Floorball Championships 2017 groups will be presented on the IFF website and the first up is Group B with Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Poland.
Swedish team wants to play offensive in a high tempo with much creativity.
Players to watch
Anna Wijk: The captain of the team, named best player in the world in 2016 by the Swedish Innebandymagazinet and she was in the MVP in WFC 2015.
Sofia Joelsson: A debutant in the WFC, a real goal scorer who works hard all over the field.
Iza Rydfjäll: Very skilful in defence and who also has a great shot.

Switzerland has an ambitious team with a promising mix of experienced and young players. The team is known for its strong will, team spirit and physical presence. For the WFC 2017 in Bratislava, the Swiss team has set itself ambitious goals and is eager to continuously increase its performance throughout the tournament.
Players to watch
Corin Rüttimann: Extremely skilled, agile and fast player. Currently one of the world´s strongest player in women Floorball.
Flurina Marti: An absolute team player with a tremendous fighting spirit and amazing technical skills.
Michelle Wiki: Kind of a player that does not need a lot of chances to score a goal.

The German team is young, hungry and motivated to play a good tournament. The team knows, that they will fight again for every point and every goal.
Players to watch
Franziska Kuhlmann: The captain of the team, a leader on the field and an idol for the young players, but with her fighting spirit and great offensive skills, she is also a really important player for the team.
Katja Timmel: She is the last of the "Mohicans" in the team and takes a lead in the defence.
Lisa Entelmann: A player who can play in different roles and different positions. Gives a lot of safety with her skills to the team.

A young but yet experienced team who got much stronger and faster with in the last 2 years. Their main goal is to improve last WFC result and play successfully with top 4 teams.
Players to watch
Malgorzata Pazio: Titled and successful club player, world class defender and a boost for the whole team, more words not needed.
Weronika Noga: Engine in defence, back from injury and playing now even better, extremely devoted - gives everything for the team.
Malwina Zagorska: Upcoming Polish star-sniper, power forward with great stamina, had terrific performance on WFCQ and EFC, always playing freely towards opponent´s goal.
