The Men’s WFC in Riga, Latvia broke records already during the first day. The WFC also raised interest in television, media and social media. Have a look at some of the numbers.

New opening day total attendance record: 13 280.

In total 37 matches out of the 48 were broadcasted. According to the current information, matches were broadcasted live in one form or another in 17 different countries. These countries were Latvia, Finland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Estonia, Denmark, Thailand, China, Slovakia, Lithuania, Russia, Taiwan, Macao and Hong Kong. The WFC also made the news in Singapore, Poland, Australia, Canada and USA. The IFF has not yet received the visibility report from Reuters and Eurovision news delivery.
The final had 2 336 807 viewers and the bronze match 2 116 372 viewers. According to the current statistics the live matches were seen by 13,3 million viewers. All in all, the WFC reached 32,4 million people. The IFF has not yet received all figures
