Poland came prepared and made Singapore´s defense look non-existent. 8-2 (6-1, 2-1, 6-1)
Poland and Singapore were off to a great start until minutes later when the Polish side woke up and were ready to dig and tear the opposing team to pieces. Although Singapore was the first one to get a goal, a few seconds later Poland tied it up and it went just downhill for the Singaporean side. Poland managed to land five in a row putting them up by a huge margin.
2nd period looked like the replay of the 1st period but Singapore tried to pressure back. However that didn´t work as Poland regained the game advantage. It took them over 9 minutes to extend their lead even further. Next goal came on the power play. We had to wait till 39:38 to finally get another goal from Singapore who scored a beautiful cross-crease goal.
Poland came rushing out for the 3rd period in order to secure victory and they managed to do it. Singapore had no chance to come back and win it. Poland kept their cool and managed to smash goals one by one completing the game with six goals in the third period to Singapore´s lone goal. Not only dud they lose the game, but also one of their players who fell and hurt his lower-back.
