The IFF Referee Committee appointed seven referee pairs from four different countries to referee the upcoming Men´s WFC 2016. Some newcomers in the group and also a lot of experience.
The referees are:
Kamil Sojka (CZE)
Kamil Sojka is 35 years old and works as a dispatcher in logistics. He also lives in Havirov and he´s married and has twin daughters. He´s been a referee 16 years and the last ten years he´s been refereeing with Tomas Sojka and they are cousins.
Tomas Sojka (CZE)
Tomas Sojka, 36, works as the Head of implementation and operation department in an IT-Company in Ostrava. He´s also married and has two kids.
Mikko Alakare (FIN)
a 40 years old attorney at law has a long experience as a referee. He started his career in the national level already in 1993 and his international career in 2000. His first big challenge as an IFF referee was the 2004 Men´s WFC final with his former pair.
Vesa Vilkki (FIN)
is 36 years old product manager from Helsinki. He started his career as a national league referee in 2002 and his international career in 2006. Experineced referee with several international games together with his pair for 10 years.
Tero Fordell
started his referee career in 1996 with his pair and they have been international referees since 2009 on. He is an entrepreneur and lives in the city of Turku and he is 32 years old.
35 year old business attorney with three beautiful daughters and a wife, who still supports his referee career. The highlight of their international career so far is the WFC 2014 Semi- Final Sweden-Switzerland in Gothenburg.
Martins Gross (LAT)
Started his referee career 11 years ago in Latvia and his present occupation is referee. He started his international career in 2007 with his present partner. He lives in Liepaja, a coastal region by the Baltic Sea.
Martins Larinovs (LAT)
is 31 years old and he has been a referee for more than decade and an IFF referee since 2007. He lives in Rubene and is a very eager cook and one of his favourite hobby is to pick mushrooms. He and his pair have refereed around 100 international games so far.
Maris Kumerdanks
is 29 years old and he lives in Riga. He has been on the international referees for two years, but he was on the international level also earlier with another pair. As a pair they are newcomers to the adult´s WFC level. The referees the WUC 2016 final between Finlnad and Sweden last summer in Portugal.
Kaspars Kristapsons
also lives in Riga and he is 25 years old. He has a player background in the Latvian MU19 team. They have started to referee together with his pair some four years ago.
Glenn Boström (SWE)
Glenn Boström is 42 years of age and works as an IT-consultant. He´s married and has two kids. He also has a player background and actually he has won the Swedish U19 championship with his team way back in 1992.
Håkan Söderman (SWE)
Håkan Söderman is one of the most experienced referees on the international level. He´s 49 years old, works as a Floorball consultant. They´ve been in several international tournaments with his pair.
Thomas Andersson is 39 years old and works as a manager in Ericsson. He has been an IFF referee also before. He´s been a referee since 1996 and has a family with two kids.
Rickard Wissman is 36 years old military man and has been a referee since 1996. He has a family and one daughter and when not refereeing he enjoys to cook and train. He also has player background from the Swedish second division.
