The 11th Men´s World Floorball Championships (WFC) Final Round is played in Riga, Latvia on December 3rd - 11th 2016.
A total of 34 teams played in the WFC Qualifications to decide the 15 teams to qualify to the Event. Latvia, as the organiser, is automatically qualified. The WFC is played with 16 teams.
The two best teams of group A and B go directly to the quarter-final. Teams placed 3rd and 4th in group A and B and the teams placed 1st and 2nd in group C and D make it to the first playoff round (played before the quarter-finals).

All four Men´s World Floorball Championships 2016 groups will be presented on the IFF website and the third up is Group B with Sweden, Czech Republic, Latvia, Norway.
The Swedish teams aim is and has always been to be at the top of the podium. They have a team which is prepared for a very tough WFC. They have prepared themselves carefully and also noticed their opponents’ positive development. They are fully aware that they will need to perform on top to win the gold.
Players to watch:
Robin Nilsberth: The shot, the determination and the winning touch.
Johan Samuelsson: The captain with a high game intelligence and with a high speed in everything he does.
Alexander Galante Carlström: A sharp goal scorer with a shot that seldom misses the goal.

Czech Team has an excellent defence. They have a great team spirit and fast and dangerous offensive in the game.
Players to watch:
Matej Jendrisak Strong in attacking directly at goal, winning 1-on-1 battles.
Martin Tokos: One of the fastest players in the team, can surprise with non-traditional ending.
Lukas Veltsmid: Lukas has great movement with the ball and strong shot.

Team Latvia´s aim for the game - to fight for medals.
Players to watch:
Atis Blinds: One of the most experienced players in the team. Fighter and captain of the team.
Andis Blinds: Goalkeeper with a good technique and game reading skills. Latvian goalie with the biggest experience in WFC.
Morics Krumins: Rising star in the Latvian Floorball. Defender with good attacking ability.

Team Norway is a team in progress with several first time players in a WFC. Their aim is to develop both as a team and as individuals.
Players to watch:
Ketil Kronberg: Ketil is one of the best and most experienced players in the world.
Daniel Gidske: Daniel´s strength is the ability to play both defence and attack.
Ole Mossin Olesen: Ole is one of the best Zorro players in the world.
