EFC 2015 Men´s team presentations – 06.10.2015

Six teams will compete in the Men’s category of EuroFloorball Cup 2015. The EFC is played in Cesis, Latvia 6-10.10.

The EuroFloorball Cup is the championship tournament for the 5th and lower ranked European national club champions. The EFC 2015 winners in Men´s and Women´s categories will qualify directly to the Champions Cup 2016.

Group A

FK Lekrings:
Latvian Lekrings is prepared to fight for victory in each game while enjoying the match and the tournament.
Players to watch:
Aleksandrs Abramovs: Fighter who never gives up. Fast legs combined with a hard shot.
Kaspars Bernats: Important player on and off the court. Does whatever it takes for the team to win.
Artis Savins: Joined the club in the off-season, but proved himself as a leader. Really dangerous in the power play with his sweeper shot.

Nizhegorodets:
Nizhegorodets is the silver medalist of Russia. Their main goal is to reach the final of EFC 2015.
Players to watch:
Mihail Bukin: Team’s experienced long-term captain.
Alexandr Latukhin: Young hope of team who is a fast offensive player.
Dmitry Uglanov: Defender with international experience.

IFK Paris:
Oldest floorball club in France. IFK Paris has 4 national league titles. A motivated and experienced team that is the first French club to reach the EFC.
Players to watch:
Vojtech Slaby: Strong, fast and energetic defender
Sylvain Dupuis: Veteran player for IFK, all time goal scoring leader in France
Eric Pouchot: Young center who has developed his game in the past years by playing in Sweden

Group B

Greåker IBK:
Norwegian Greåker consists of a mix of young and old players. Their aim is to reach the final and win the tournament.
Players to watch:
Lars Erik Torp: Named as the best player in the Norwegian league season 2014/2015. Has experience from the national team as well as the Swedish top league, SSL.
Martin Isnes Kvisvik: One of the biggest talents in Norway. Has been a part of the national team and rumour has it several SSL teams are interested in him.
Elias Conradzon: Playmaker of the team who has also played in the SSL.

TTU SK:
Tallinn Technical University floorball team. Estonian team’s aim is to do their best and fight until the last whistle.
Players to watch:
Oskar Salm: Team captain. Skillful center and a playmaker.
Alex Kark: Tough defenseman who has a good long distance shot.
Anton Ylä-Autio: Playmaker who is a versatile player.

Rubene:
Latvian Rubene has previously been in the EFC in 2006. This year the team aims to reach the final.
Players to watch:
Atis Stepans:  Good scorer who’s also a part of the Latvian national team.
Matiss Malnieks: Youngest player on the team who is really talented.  
Aris Aldins: The whole team can rely on him.
