Men´s Top National Leagues – 13.09.2016

All floorball leagues in the top four floorball countries, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, will start this week. From the men’s leagues, Swedish top league (SSL) is first to start.

Czech Republic
The men’s league in Czech Republic (Tipsport Superliga) will start this Saturday with four matches.
17.9. 14:00 Pardubice (9*) v Tatran (3)
17.9. 16:00 Bohemians (6) v Chodov (1)
17.9. 19:00 Vitkovice (5) v Otrokovice (8)
17.9. 19:00 Liberec (-) v Ostrava (10)

* = Last season’s results after regular season. - means that the team didn’t play in the league last season

12 teams will play in the men’s league and 8 teams will make it to the play-offs whereas the 4 teams left below the play-off-line will face play-outs.

Finland
In Finland, the men’s league (Salibandyliiga) will begin this Saturday with a single match. More matches will be played on Sunday.

18.9. 17:00 Oilers (3) v SPV (7)
18.9. 17:00 Nokian KrP (11) v KooVee (10)
18.9. 17:00 SalBa (14) v EräViikingit (4/5)
18.9. 17:00 Happee (2) v TPS (6)
18.9. 18:30 OLS (8) v Steelers (-)

*= Last season’s results after regular season. EräViikingit is a merger team by Viikingit and Erä and because both teams played in the league last season, both results are shown. - means that the team didn’t play in the league last season.

14 teams will play in the Finnish league. Top 8 teams will make it to play-offs, next 3 team’s seasons will end, and from the last 3 teams the last one will relegate straight to the second highest league whereas the other 2 teams will face play-outs.

The men’s league in Sweden (SSL) will kick-off already on Wednesday with five matches.
14.9. 19:00 IK Sirius IBK (12*) v IBF Falun (2)

14.9. 19:00 Växjö IBK (4) v FC Helsingborg (6)
14.9. 19:00 Warberg IC (10) v Höllvikens IBF (-)
14.9. 19:00 Mullsjö AIS (8) v Pixbo Wallenstam IBK (1)

Out of the 14 men’s teams in the SSL, the top 8 will continue to play-offs, the season ends for the next 4 teams and the last 2 teams will face play-outs.

Switzerland
In Switzerland, the men’s league (NLA) will start on Friday with one match, but five more matches will follow on Saturday.
