The World Games 2017 – 11.07.2017

Floorball will be part of The World Games 2017 the first time as an official sport. The World Games will be played in Wroclaw, Poland 20th - 30th of July and the floorball competition will be played 27th - 30th of July.

Six Men´s teams will play at The World Games 2017 Floorball competition. Poland were automatically qualified as the host country. Men´s WFC 2016 in Riga acted as the qualification tournament and Finland, Sweden and Switzerland qualified as the medalists. Czech Republic were the best ranked neighboring country to Poland and USA were the best ranked non-European team. The teams are divided into two groups:

Live Streaming
For floorball fans who can’t make it to Wroclaw, the matches will be streamed live with English commentary. All The World Games Floorball matches will be streamed on the IFF Youtube Channel with English commentary! During the final day on Sunday, the stream will be delayed by one minute and there will be geoblocks (list below the article) due to the TV and marketing rights. If you are unable to watch on the IFF YouTube channel due to the geoblocking you will still be able to follow the matches on the Olympic Channel. Read more here.
