IFF collects the Team Whereabouts Information of the top four Men’s and Women’s national teams according to the world ranking. These top four national teams are included in the IFF Registered Testing Pool for National Teams (RTP 2).

 

World ranking January 2009:

Men: 1) Finland, 2) Sweden, 3) Switzerland, 4) Czech Republic

Women: 1) Sweden, 2) Finland, 3) Switzerland, 4) Latvia

 

Twice a year (31st of January and 1st of September) the National Association needs to fill in the IFF National Team Calendar Form. The planned events (including camps, tournaments and IFF events) of the year should be marked on the form.

The Floorball Village will be presented in the winter ispo trade show Hall C3 where international Floorball stars will play exciting matches and demonstrate “Zorro” tricks in the IFF Event area (C3 328).

13.-15.3.2009 - IFF 2010 Rules Working Group meeting

The Rules 2010 Working Group is headed by Mr. Martin Wolmhed from the IFF RACC and consists of the following experts in rules: Mr. Libor Gavlas (Czech Republic), Mr. Klaus Koskela (Finland), Mr. Daniel Steiner (Switzerland) and Mr. Greger Sandell (Sweden).

The Working Group will have its last meeting on the 13th - 15th of March (prel.).

This concerns only athletes in the IFF Registered Testing Pool 1 (RTP 1).

For IFF RTP 1 Atheletes, the last day to submit individual whereabouts information for the Quarter 2 (Q2: 1st of April - 30th of June) is 15th of March 2009.

25.-29.3.2009 - APAC 2009

The 6th Asia and Pacific Floorball Championships 2009 (APAC) will be played in Pyeong Taek, Korea, from the 25th to 29th of March 2009 and there will be live update from all the matches on the IFF APAC 2009 web page.

Australia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore have registered for the Men´s APAC 2009 and Japan, Korea and Singapore for the Women´s APAC tournament.

The next Asian and Oceania Floorball Confederation´s (AOFC) Central Board meeting will be held on the 29th of March 2009 during the APAC 2009 tournament in Pyeong Taek, Korea.

Registration & Fees

The registration form shall be sent or faxed to: International Floorball Federation, Alakiventie 2, FI-00920 Helsinki, Finland, Fax +358-9 454 214 50. The registration form shall be the IFF by hand latest on the 31st of May 2009.

The participation fee is now divided, the direct qualified teams shall pay 3000 CHF and the qualifying teams shall pay 2000 CHF for the qualification and if qualified to the Final Round app. 500 CHF after the qualification. The qualifying teams shall also share the referee costs* for the qualifications.

The fee shall be paid to the IFF account: Credit Suisse, CH-8700 Küsnacht, Account No. 4818-559200-11, Swift Code: CRESCHZZ87A, IBAN: CH13 0481 8055 9200 1100 0 to be the IFF by hand latest on the 31st of May 2009.

The receipt of payment shall be attached to the registration.
