The new spectator record for match average was set in Champions Cup 2017 in Seinäjoki, Finland.

The spectator record in a single Champions Cup match was already broken in the semifinal match between SPV and Falun. The tournament was attended by 12,609 spectators, which gives an average of 1,051 per match, which is a new record. The previous highest match average was from Champions Cup 2015 in Mlada Boleslav.
