CC interview with Kim Nilsson: Zurich can go for gold — 17.09.2014

GC Zurich won the Swiss Cup final last year and got the chance to take part in the Champions Cup played in front of their home crowd. 

Zurich also managed to get the WFC 2012 MVP Kim Nilsson for this season.

People say that your transfer is the biggest of this season. Will you be able to help the team to reach the highest level in Europe?

- I have been recruited to score and help with the routine I have created myself in both AIK and the national team. It is good that it will be the highest level. The sport needs it, both from the media and young people who want to start a career in floorball.
 
How has the preparation to meet the best in Europe progressed?

- It has been a bit different for me this year. We got our first child in August when the move to Switzerland was already clear. That was special for me. We played a tournament in Umeå against good opponents. I myself have been able to play with AIK and several practice sessions with the national team. I feel in good shape and I am incredibly enthusiastic to play.
 
What result are you satisfied with in the CC and in the National Championship?

- We have of course the same chance as any other team to win the Cup. It will be tough matches to get to the final, but with a good defence and attack so we can go for the gold.
