Happee and SB-Pro new Finnish Champions — 22.04.2014Happee from Hyväskylä and SB-Pro from Nurmijärvi celebrate the first ever Finnish League gold medals and earned the tickets to the Champions Cup 2014.
Happee dominated the match for two periods and could create enough distance to take the victory. Veli-Matti Hynynen and Joonas Pylsy took Happee to a two goal lead in the first period. Hynynen increased the lead to 4-0 in the second period and finalised a hattrick. Classic improved their performance in the third period and the match became a thriller reducing Happee´s lead to one goal. With the help of the national team goalie, Eero Kosonen, Happee could hold on to their one goal lead. SB-Pro new Women´s Champion SB-Pro from Nurmijärvi is the new Finnish Women´s League champion. The team from Nurmijärvi defeated Classic, the team that had won six titles in a row, in the decisive 5th final 5-3 (3-1, 0-0, 2-2). This was the third time that these two teams met in the finals.
