Zurich - Your Host City

With a population of 400’000 Zurich is the largest town of Switzerland. The agglomeration included it even counts almost 1.2 million residents. Zurich is the capital of the correspondent canton and the economic and scientific centre of Switzerland. It is one of the world’s most livable cities – but also one of the world’s most expensive cities.
Zurich is well developed with a modern traffic system. The airport – which is one of Europe’s largest airports – is located only a few minutes from the city centre. And the central rail station offers numerous national and international connections.
Zurich offers many possibilities: e.g. shopping, restaurants, cultural events. It is also a sports city - as it already hosted Euro 2008 games in football or the European championship in track and field this year. Further it hosts many different sports teams. One of those is the floorball team of Grasshoper Club which is one of the participants and LOC at the Champions Cup.
