Storvreta in the semi-final after an impressive game — 04.10.2012After two straight victories Storvreta will now get a day off before the semi-final on Saturday. Their second game was however not a walk in the park. RTU/Inspecta gave good resistance – even if the final result was quite clear, 5-1.
The three times Swedish champions dominated the majority of the game, but the Latvian goalie, Andis Blinds, made several spectacular saves. Unfortunately he injured his shoulder early in the third period and had to leave the game. - We had the ball a lot and we created many chances but their goalkeeper was incredibly good. When skilled snipers like ours get more than ten chances, we really should score more than five goals, says Mika Kohonen who made one of Storvretas goals. One of the stars in Storvreta, Rasmus Sundstedt, had to leave the game in the second period after receiving a hit on the left foot in the first period.
